  7. This archive contains the lhthai font in 2 sizes; I have designed
  8. it mainly for use with web browsers. By setting the kerning
  9. information to extreme values it is possible to make
  10. vowels and tone marks appear in roughly the right
  11. places. Due to the multilevel nature of "way an nuuk",
  12. for example consider a vowel with "sara ee" and "mai ayk",
  13. these fonts appear to have an excess of vertical space.

  15. The Thai letters are TIS-620 coded, i.e. appear in the
  16. upper half of 8 bit ASCII.

  18. 1. Copy the lhthai directory to to FONTS:
  19. 2a. From a Shell, type setfont lhthai 24 prop or
  20. 2b. Select an lhthai font in your web browser
  21.  
  22. These fonts were drawn using TypeFace by David Kinder.
